The discover of audiobooks
I know that audiobook that been around for a while, but i have never gotten around to try some of the services there are out there.
If you have seen my twitter about smashing my phone, i was forced to look after a new one, and therefore i had to look for a new phone subscription, because the one i had, was so old, that its was not sold any more. Just to give you some not so important informations. :)
I therefore was forced to chose a subscription, where there was a lot of extra things, but i thought that i was never going to use it. But i decided to say yes and be positive about it, and try and use the things.
In my subscription, was acces to an app called Bookmate, its audiobooks, and non-audio if you want to read instead, but i drive for about an hour a day, to go to work, so i thought to give et a shot since i knew i had som time to fill, one and a while.
The app is easy to use, and i startet to look for books right away. And this is not an ad or anything, just a little wakeup call to my self. The only book i could remember right away, was Zoe Suggs book, Girl online.
So i startet to listen to it, and to much surprise, i like audiobooks. Normally i dont like being forced to be giving voices to characters, i think that is a part of the magic with books.
And even thoughh, im not the aimed group to read Girl Online, i found it nice. There where a few times, where i could feel i was to old, because i was to sugar sweet and to kid like, but i did find myself also waiting in the car for a few minutes, for the chapter to finish so i didn't miss anything.
But with my new discovered love for audiobooks, i can't wait for my travel to London later this year, the long flight can bright it on, i now have something to do and look forward to, besides going to London.
What are you takes on audiobooks, and are there any books you would recommend for me to hear?
In the best Girl Online style
